CNE@40 Gingerbread Challenge

CNE would like to host the Gingerbread Challenge – a festive celebration honoring 40 years of CNE investing in neighborhoods and supporting homeownership. Hosting the Gingerbread Challenge is our way of celebrating our legacy while blending the joy of the holidays with a friendly competition that honors the spirit of creating home.

Our event would be two challenges in one. There will be a kids building contest, where each child pays a minimal fee of $10 to receive a kit and enter the competition with a winner voted on by the festival crowd. There will also be a professional challenge where sponsoring architect and design firms bring their own jumbo gingerbread models to display and a panel of judges would award a pro “best in show”.
