Chattanooga Rowing – Learn to Row

Chattanooga Rowing is a non-profit dedicated to expanding awareness of and participation in the sport of rowing, for competition, fitness, or leisure. Chattanooga Rowing incorporates two programs: Chattanooga Junior Rowing (CJR) for high school aged students and Lookout Rowing Club (LRC) open to all ages.

Chattanooga Rowing offers “Learn to Row” classes, competition teams (Junior and Master), and winter access to ERG rowing machines.

As the only non-school affiliated rowing team in Chattanooga, CJR offers students an opportunity to participate in one of the best options for college scholarship sports, especially for female sports. In addition, rowing fosters a strong ethic of teamwork and responsibility as everyone in the boat is needed to succeed.
