The Game of Cornhole
Cornhole or Corn Toss is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called cornhole boards and corn bags instead of metal stakes and horseshoes. The cornhole boards are placed approximately 30 ft apart, and are 2' x 4', with a 6" hole. Contestants score by landing corn bags either on the board (1 point) or in the hole (3 points). Teams split up with 1 team member from each team at either end of the playing course.
Opponents take turns tossing each of 4 corn bags per contestant. The scoring for each round is determined by the net difference between the high scorer and the lower scorer. (For example if player 1 from Team A tosses 3 bags that land on the board and player 1 from Team B tosses 4 bags that land on the board, then the net score for that round is 1 pt for Team B.)
For more information on specific rules and other information about the game, see playcornhole.org. The tournament will be played to the rules shown on this website.
